I cannot say enough good things about this curriculum. I am absolutely loving it. It is perfect to adjust to all of my school age children that range from 6-13. I love that the text book I read to my children or they read on their own is in full color. I also love that I can do as much or little as I want from the craft book, coloring book, extra read alouds, or map pages.
During part of the year we had soccer games and practices almost every single day. During that time I had my kids read their history by themselves as independent work. We did absolutely no extra things whatsoever. Now that soccer is long over, we are reading the text book during our circle time. We are also looking into the additional activities and getting through some of the read alouds.
This curriculum incorporates lots of optional crafts and games. I love this part of this curriculum. I am a gameschooler at heart. I would much rather learn things by playing a game then by filling out a worksheet.
