Homeschool Mom- Resources Worth Your Time

There are so many homeschool Moms I look up to. There are some specific ones that have really helped make my life easier. I’m inspired by them for different days reasons. For some the inspiration comes from their blog, from unit studies they’ve created, from their YouTube channel, from books they’ve wrote, and most of them are a combination of these. Here are some of the ladies I admire and a short list of why.

Jessica Waldock- The Waldock Way

Amy Roberts- Raising Arrows

  • homeschool podcast
  • She has a large family and kids, and she accepts that her life life won’t be Pinterest perfect.

Ainsley Arment

Sarah Mackenzie

Cait Curley

Kara Anderson

Erica Arndt- Confessions of a Homeshooler

Jenny Phillips- The Good and the Beautiful

Katie Waalkes – Life in the Mundane

Wendy- Plan Prep Pray

  • I love her Christlike example of looking outside your chaos to help another mom.

My New Vision

These ladies have helped me create a new vision for my family and homeschool. This vision starts with putting my Father in Heaven first and putting time into his word. I can’t be a mom if my cup is empty. I’ve learned to accept my home and life are realistic and not pinterest perfect. I don’t have everything together, but I’m giving all of this my best shot. I’ve learned that is enough. I’ve also learned that our happiest days involve time outside and cuddling with warm blankets, quiet toys, and snacks for read aloud time. I have learned to be happy at home.
